Roadside Assistance Jobs

Byrne Auto | Towing - Roadside Assistance | Gorham NH, Berlin NH

We currently have part-time positions available (with options to become full-time) for light-service-van drivers and tow-truck operators. No experience necessary – we can provide training. These are flexible positions that provide 20 regularly-scheduled hours per week during normal business hours, as well as a few on-call night & weekend shifts during which drivers can pick up extra hours helping stranded motorists outside of normal business hours. Go-getters can earn an additional 20 – 40 hours per week accepting after-hours calls up to 60 hours per week.
Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, previous experience and a current medical card (required for tow truck operators). Training will be provided for candidates without previous experience if otherwise determined to be a good fit for the company. Pay commensurate with experience. Candidates must complete a successful 90-day probationary employment period.

Auto Service Tech / Mechanic Jobs

Depending on the experience and skill level of the technician, positions will entail everything from tire changes to engine swaps to drivability diagnostics. Pay commensurate with experience. Candidates must complete a successful 90-day probationary employment period.

Auto Detailer

Part-time position (with options to become full time) entails cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors, operating a buffer, vacuum, pressure washer, and using various cleaning chemicals and soaps. Pay commensurate with experience. Candidates must complete a successful 90-day probationary employment period.

Office Assistant

Part-time position (with options to become full time) in a used car dealer / repair garage environment entails:

  • Answering phone calls of all types (auto sales inquiries, roadside assistance requests, auto service appointment requests, and general business calls).
  • Vehicle sales paperwork (sales agreements, NH title applications, etc.)
  • Data entry (basic bookkeeping, sales / cost / inventory reports)
  • Any other administrative duties to support the operation of the business.

Candidates must complete a successful 90-day probationary employment period.
